SIG Purpose and Activities
The Learning Assistance Center
Management SIG provides a forum for the discussion of learning
center goals, practices, supervision, and evaluation among learning
assistance center managers and staff. Activities include a quarterly
newsletter and the exchange of ideas through SIG-sponsored
conference activities, including a concurrent session and group
meeting.
For more information, please contact Dr. Penny Turrentine, the current SIG

Related Websites (updated 10/29/00)
Many websites provide excellent resources for learning center
managers. Now the SIG can identify some that are particularly useful
to its members. See what is available in terms of
related
links, then suggest others that you have found helpful so that
the list can grow.
Learning Center Websites (updated 05/06/02)
The SIG maintains a list of
learning
center websites, all included by permission of each center's
staff. You do not have to be a member of CRLA or the SIG in order to
have your learning assistance center included. If you want your
center's website listed, please contact Dr. Penny Turrentine, the current SIG
leader.
