CALL TO CONFERENCE 2024 click to view
We are so excited to announce that the College Reading & Learning Association’s (CRLA) 57th Annual Conference will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota from November 13-16, 2024, at the Royal Sonesta Minneapolis Downtown.
This year’s theme, "Boldly Forward Breaking Barriers. Transcending Rules." encapsulates our collective aspiration to embrace innovative strategies, pioneering research, and transformative practices that will shape the future of college reading and learning. As higher educationtransforms, we recognize the imperative to push boundaries and seek new approaches that empower our students and colleagues alike. The "Boldly Forward" theme invites us to explore the dynamic shifts occurring in our field, from technological advancements and cuttingedge methodologies to inclusive practices and holistic support systems.
Join us this November in Minneapolis as we draw inspiration from a city whose history exemplifies the power of community, creativity, and commitment to progress. At last year’s conference, we expanded the ways that we come together by offering self-care sessions and highlighting leadership and new ways to engage with colleagues. This year, we will continue our focus on self-care as a pillar of advocacy and student support. In addition, the conference will continue pushing the boundaries of our field through a variety of sessions exploring the impact of AI, innovations in the field, and new horizons for the field of student support. We encourage you to register early and sign up well in advance for optional sessions such as Pre-Conference Institutes, Learning Over Lunch, the various Experiential Learning Sessions, and the Closing Institute. All the details you need to make your plans are in this Call to Conference. We look forward to seeing you in Minneapolis!
