Jose Paez-Figueroa has almost 30 years of experience in higher education. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Universidad del Norte, Colombia, and his Master of Science in Management from Thomas Edison University. He is currently a PhD candidate in Instructional Design and Technology at Liberty University.

Throughout his career, Jose has held several roles including peer tutor. He currently serves as Assistant Dean of Learning Resources at UCNJ Union College of Union County, NJ, overseeing tutoring centers, distance education, and media services.

Cheryl Capuchina
North Central Texas College

Cheryl Capuchina has more than 18 years of experience in higher education. She earned her BAAS and M.Ed. from the University of North Texas.

All of her higher education experience has been with North Central Texas College, where she currently works as Tutoring Services Coordinator in the Student Success Center. She leads peer and professional tutoring programs and oversees CRLA training and certification.

Cheryl has served as an ITTPC Application Reviewer for over seven years and has reviewed numerous programs during that time.
