| States, Regions, & Chapters (SRCs) |
CRLA offers members the opportunity to join local States/Regions/Chapters (SRCs) to connect with those in a specific geographic area for professional development and collaboration. Joining an SRC is a good first step in getting involved as these groups discuss current issues and interests faced by CRLA members in the area. These collaborations facilitate CRLA’s mission to provide college reading and learning professionals with an open forum to discover and exchange the leading tools and techniques to enhance student academic success. SRC Leaders play a pivotal role at the annual conference, with each region having an opportunity to meet at a specially-designated time at the conference. SRC members are encouraged to participate within their groups through conference-related activities, as well as through submitting to their SRC newsletter, e-blast, or other community forums. As a CRLA member you may join a SRC when you renew your membership or anytime during the year by accessing the MyCRLA portion of the website. Review your local SRC to learn more about the leadership of the group. States: Arkansas and Louisiana
