Bio

Dr. Rebecca Tedesco (she/her/ella) has been a CRLA member, frequent presenter at the Annual Conference, and served in different roles in our organization over the past nine years.

Her superpower is that she can make anyone believe in themselves. She is an educator who empowers college students, especially first-generation and minoritized students, to become more confident, skillful learners. Her research focus is embedded tutoring.

Focus: Branding and Optimization

Bio

As a student development specialist II, Jonathan delivers research coaching and support to undergraduate and graduate students conducting faculty-led research projects. He began his CRLA leadership in 2020 as a member of the TX-CRLA board—focusing on communication and conference support. He served as president-elect, president, and past-president for TX-CRLA and hosted the annual joint-conference with TX-NOSS. He has since continued to support hosting the joint conference through other board roles. Jonathan also received the CRLA Outstanding Professional Development Award on behalf of TX-CRLA  as well as the Cynthia L. Peterson Outstanding JCRL article award.
