To ensure continuity and uninterrupted access to program applications, CRLA strongly recommends that the primary contact email address be a generic, role-based inbox (e.g., learningcenter@institution.edu that is accessible to multiple authorized staff members within the program.

Using a shared inbox helps prevent delays or access issues that may arise due to staff turnover, promotions, retirements, or extended absences. This practice supports timely communication, maintains institutional knowledge, and ensures that applications and certification-related correspondence remain accessible to the program at all times.

Programs are encouraged to update their primary contact information accordingly to avoid future disruptions.

For training programs that are not currently certified, or programs that are adding a new element (e.g., program, campus, level) to a currently-certified program.

Once approved, the program certificate is valid for two years, and then will need to be renewed prior to expiration.
